Terrific! Well-paced, sympathetic, and informative. Its a rather big subject, and I can't imagine it being done any better. It was awkward to watch it all in one week (its in high demand, always being requested) because its nineteen hours…

This 10 DVD PBS Ken Burns collection is well worth watching. (#6 is missing) I especially enjoyed the earlier films because of the many old photographs that enrich my knowledge of those early years in the evolution of the music we have…

Another stellar multi-part documentary by Ken Burns & PBS. Regardless of if you're new to the genre or a self-professed Louis Armstrong wizard, this movie will bring out the Jazz-nut in all of us. 5/5
