Great book, about a youth named Joel (Coincidence?) who wants desperately to become a Rithmatist, and becomes wrapped up in a mystery that will keep you reading for hours. I know some say they loved it due to its dodging of the usual…

One of Brandon Sanderson's best books to date. While it is written outside of his broader Cosmere universe, it includes another of Sanderson's trademark unique magic systems that truly make the world come alive. Based around a world in…

It's amazing and unique, has a great plot, but it manages to end it in a cliff hanger that doesn't quite seem like a cliffhanger. I can't wait until the next book, but at the same time I'm fine with waiting for years. It's great!

He needs to write the next book! What is taking him so long? I loved the ending, it seemed quick and generic at first, but then that plot twist... will most definitely recommend.

It's alright. Didn't feel very alternate-reality, though. The speech patterns of the characters were basic and uninspired. It was a good book, but the way it was written really cut into how imaginative it was--the concept was really cool,…

I enjoyed this book and was captivated by it and could not put it down, but constantly had the feeling that it was aimed at 14 or 15 year olds. For me It lacked something of the appeal and satisfaction that his Mistborn series, Warbreaker…

Imagine this book is like Harry Potter and all the muggles got to go to Hogwarts, but it was just really costly to go there. This is like that, but way better. I cannot even describe how good this book was. I finished it in about a day.
