Add a CommentA wonderful well written book. I will always love this story. Very powerful and heart renching. Highly recommended.
Never read a book that made me cry more.
Wonderfully written, cried like a baby!
Highly-acclaimed novel, and I was not disappointed. Poetic and heart-wrenching account of a childhood in Afghanistan, with hope and redemption.
A great and very readable book, but probably not suitable for younger children.
I was quite disappointed in this book after hearing such great reviews. It took a while for it to get interesting. They ending could have been better.
very painful story and very strong writing >beautiful work
very painful but a great story
Did any of you guys watch the movie? its soooo SAD:'( i love the book and the movie:D
This book was awesome! I was in tears in some chapters in this book but for those of you into foreign policy, this book gives you how life is like in Afghanistan in terms of terrorism, family life, and quality of life in society. I cannot wait to read his second novel.
