Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock embarks on a journey to find out if fast food is making Americans fat. For 30 days he can't eat or drink anything that isn't on McDonald's menu; he must eat three square meals a day, he must eat everything on the menu at least once, and supersize his meal if asked. He treks across the country interviewing a host of experts on fast food and a number of regular folk while downing McDonald's to try and find out why 37% of American are now overweight. Spurlock's grueling diet spirals him into a metamorphosis that will make you think twice about picking up another Big Mac.

great DVD!
It will change the way you think about fast food.
my daughter and I watched it about several years ago. And she told me we are NOT going to eat fast food any more! And we haven't set foot into a McDonald's or any other fast food since watching it.

McNauseating. An admirable (and brave! lol) experiment from Morgan Spurlock, with predictably dismal results. The statistics are frightening, even though his presentation was entertaining and whimsical. I think I'll go make a salad...

At times funny, at times compelling; an indictment of our society's lack of nutrition, despite its gluttonous consumption of essentially empty calories.

Though I do not eat, excessively like most people-especially when it comes to fast food, I was able to commend Mr. Morgan Spurlock's and loved it from beginning to end. The results and journey within itself was amazing, and should surely make people think twice.! :) 5/5 Stars, from me.

That's my sister down there !! LOL. awsome documentary. entertaining and not boring. funny, but he speaks the truth. I don't know how anyone else could film it. It was such a creative expierment, that only he could think of. It wakes you up from the realitly that people are killing themselves eating thbis food.Obesity is nothing to joke about. One thing for sure, it really makes me think twice about eating fast food. Just like my sister though, I will still eat the food loll just not all the time.

My sister told me about this documentary and I ended up seeing it with my family. This documentary exposes shocking details about McDonald's. I felt bad for the guy that had to eat McDonald's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This was a good documentary and now it's making me think more about what he said about McDonald's but ill still eat there. I love their fries. Lol. Funny too. A must see.

This totally changed my mind about eating fast food!:P

As difficult as it is to face the truth of this movie, it was a brilliant piece of work...

I didn't see this til 2010 but it backs up my feelings towards McDonalds (which I haven't eaten for at least 3 years). It makes us feel like crap but we still eat it?!?! Much love to Morgan for sacrificing himself the way he did in order to educate the general public about the awful truths that lie behind the golden arches. I have to add that everything is a choice and we should start making the right ones and stop trying to blame someone else for our misery.

Morgan Spurlock (after eating most of the Super-Sized double quarter pounder with cheese meal): "....See, now's the time of the meal when you get the McStomach-Ache... You start gettin' the McTummy... You get, you get the McGurgles in there... You get the McBrick... Then you get the McStomach-Ache. Right now, I got, I got some McGas that's rockin'... My arm, my arms -- I feel like I got some McSweats goin'... My arms got the McTwitches goin' in here from all the sugar that's goin' in my body right now... I'm feelin' a little McCrazy..."
