When I saw this movie at my beloved Alamo Drafthouse they introduced it as the battle of good vs evil. I thought to myself "well that is a bit over the top don't you think?" Afterwards I was like "holy s**t! that really was the battle of good vs evil. This movie is a MUST SEE!

Interesting and fun to watch. Felt odd to see all those old games I used to play. Generally speaking this can be for most ages, however, there is a brief moment in the middle of the film where there are some old playgirl layouts which some parents may feel inappropriate for their children to see.

An absolutely brilliant documentary. This one is for all ages. It's a lot of fun. It really shows you that a documentary can be pretty much anything.

If I told you this movie revolves around a guy who claims the world record for Donkey Kong, the self-appointed referee of the gaming world, and a guy who loses his job and decides to go for the Donkey Kong world record, would you think some of these people might be a little bit weird? Of course they are weird – who wants to see a movie about normal people. And in fact, the guy going for the record seems remarkably well adjusted, but perhaps that’s only in contrast to the other two who are batshit crazy. I don’t want to give away too much of the story but the basic plot line is above. And I really enjoyed it. I found myself rooting for some of the characters and rooting against others. And I learned there’s a whole little world out there that most of us know nothing about. Recommended by me.

Quite a well-made documentary about video game obsession and the price of being just a bit too interested in one thing.
