Add a Commentthis book is extremely thin!!!
I'll read anything with thin *and* skinny in the title *and* if the index indicates that less than 10 pages are devoted to "exercise." (I apologize for using use a terrible profanity in a public place.) Some of her advice is good, especially her emphasis on calories in-calories out, the importance of eating what you want, and how "diets" can lead you to obsess over food. Sadly there is a fine line between portion control and anorexia, and this book is on the wrong side of it. Yes, overeating can lead to weight gain but her repeating over and over the benefits of eating only "3 bites" of anything is odd. Even worse, her example of her food intake over 3 weeks, which includes several missed meals and snacks, never approaches 1000 calories a day, when even 1000 is considered a starvation diet.
