Add a CommentListening to "Full Dark, No Stars" by Stephen King, where the author referrenced this book as his muse for the story "1922". This is mesmorizing book, with pictures and newspaper articles of humanity's fall into some dark times. One story that stood out was a man that was found in his home where he had starved to death. I believe this happened in 1927. It is a must read.
