Enjoyable summer read. The character in this book seem to evolve as those on the TV series Downton Abbey. Three women who seemingly have nothing in common become friends and a support system while part of a viewing group at a downtown Atlanta condo tv room. I enjoyed the back stories of the women and the concierge who organized the viewing. It's not earth-shaking literature, but it is a fun read, suitable for book clubs.

Terrific co-read while watching series One of Downton Abbey. It reads like a one off but somehow I feel there will be more as the Abbey wave gets bigger.

Bad writing, uninteresting characters, predictable plot. Not impressed.

Warning: I think it would be imperative to have watched Downton Abbey (seasons 1 & 2) before you read this as the book makes many anectodal references to the series. If you are like me and love the TV series then you will most likely adore this book as well. The main characters in the novel are well defined and I got interested in their lives very quickly. I could have easily read another 200 pages as three people from different walks of life emerge on the scene of a swanky condo and become close friends in time of potential ruin.

Best book I have read in a long time. Enjoyable, relaxing, entertaining. Could hardly put it down.
