Questions for ThomasjWhiting: Even more than elephants ??? Why disregard other animals ? On what principle? Don't you think that all animals have some degree of intelligence and all should live free ?

Even more than elephants, orcas should not be kept in captivity, and especially not as part of carnival theatrics.

This is a good film. Unfortunately, one sided. Hopefully people that run the aquariums and marine centers can learn from this and better the conditions of the animals currently held in captivity. There have been many attempts to integrate animals back into the wild. Not many have succeeded. The longer the animal is in captivity the harder it is, as they are accustomed to having perfect water conditions and feed the right amount of food every day without having to hunt it themselves. There are also plus sides to having marine science centers, they are there to help rescue the ones in need or injured. More thorough research needs to be done and it needs to benefit the animal in question.

Powerful film. A must watch. Every Orca and dolphin in captivity must be released and left in the wild.

Good documentary; hard to fathom how humans can possibly justify this treatment of animals...

This film puts the spotlight on killer whales in captivity and challenges the audience to consider not only the impact on the animals but also on our humanity. A shocking, must-watch documentary.

Informative but rather heavy-handed film. Possibly more propaganda than documentary, although it does deal with an important issue.

So they continue to house Tillicum in his little "JAIL" just so they can get his sperm??? May karma come back to bite all involved. DISGUSTING!!!

Excellent movie. It did seem like there was a bit of an agenda, but hard to argue with the intentions of those behind it.
