I started off liking this book..some good writing...a promise of good plot. But the characters degenerated into caricatures, almost cartoon-like. The thing about good writing and story telling is to stay within credible boundaries ..swerve if you will occasionally ...but stay on the road...and don't mistake the fields for pavement. Just such a silly trajectory.like a really ,really bad episode of Law and Order.Only that is mercifully, shorter.
There is so much good story-telling out there today, this is not among them.
