Very satisfying novel in that the bad people got what was coming to them in a very fast paced and precise way, which Reacher is known for. Some sadness with families caught in the middle of something bad that they weren't allowed to know…
In this thrilling installment of the Jack Reacher series, our protagonist finds himself in rural Nebraska where he falls afoul of a local crime family with an iron grip of terror over the community. Still haunted by the mysterious…

Mayhem is the main feature so it is a fast easy read. Child is starting to run out of good plots so he is borrowing from others in the field for plot lines. Time for Reacher to go away and for the author to try something new, he actually…

Another winner from an author with a true narrative gift who draws you in and won't let go. Lee Child pits Reacher against unspeakable evil yet again and the only solution is a myriad of dead bodies because Child doesn't tidy up the way…

Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels are my guilty pleasure: Over the years, I've read them all, and now am re-reading them...and oh they are so delish! This felt like a stronger entry in the series, and I love the game of musical chairs played…

All the usual Reacher story features, except sex. Though with its gruesome underlying mystery, this is definitely not kid-friendly as a result. Our Jack deals out dozens of torn-up knees and elbows; any reader who is an orthopedic surgeon…

Nothing new here. Reacher gets involved in some innocent peoples lives, kicks some bad guy a$$, continues on to his next adventure. Love it!! I have a mental picture of Reacher in my head, and it is not Tom Cruise!

I like the Reacher novels where he travels to small towns in different states and gets rid of the bad guys. I got a kick out of Child's description of the bad guys driving his van with its loaded cargo along HI 3 in BC after picking it up…

Just finished and loved Reacher as always. It is wild and unlikely but the good guys win with lots of action throughout.

Only Reacher could get into so much trouble just drinking coffee at a diner. But then who would want to read a story about a drifter who only bums around the countryside buying new shirts every few days?

I read about a third, but it was just too violent, ugly, and scary for me to continue; I couldn't read about trafficking in illegal immigrants and child abuse.

This latest Jack Reacher novel doesn't fail to disappoint. Yes, it is entertaining TV show reading for a day. But the depth is missing. The bad guys are completely bad. Reacher is almost always one step ahead. For example, the bad…

The usual stuff. Reacher arrives in the middle of Nebraska sniffs out the local bad guys - trucking company shipping illegal immigrants and scaring the locals. Beats them all single-handed plus the bad guys brought in from Vegas.
