What an awesome concept - the idea that you can (with the right talent and training) pull anything out of a book that will fit through the pages?! WOW! Just imagine! I do wish the story was better written. And the tropes were as flat as…

I’m not usually a fan of vampires, but they play a minor role in this superb fantasy. The concept, the characters, the book references, … love it all.

A very fun diversion. Hines creates a new form of magic while generally focusing on character and action instead of big info dumps and exposition. Clever, exciting, full of fun geek references, funny, and reverential toward the power of…

This book deserves to be immortalized by Hollywood and the silver screen. That is how good this book is. I am also looking forward to book two.

It's a wonderful adventure story as a librarian with magical talents tries to save his friends. It also deserves a reread because there are depths (and great writing) that deserve more than a…
