Jack's story lacked but the Homelands really picked up with action & a great plot twist. I got a greater appreciation for Boy Blue with his badass fighting skills. Was also glad Fables introduced Mowgli & Baloo from The Jungle Book.

Finally, the Adversary who drove the Fables out of the Homelands is unmasked. Also, Boy Blue totally kicks ass and the governing trio of Prince Charming, Beast, and Beauty mostly works.

I'm over half-way through the series at this point and still enjoying it. Looking forward to following these characters further into the "Homelands".
