This is a more comprehensive look at the life of the late, great Townes Van Zandt, complete with analysis of his records and songs. Those interested in Townes should check out the film Be Here to Love Me for a quick overview before delving into Hardy's book. Together the two provide an impressive look inside a complicated, tortured musician with staggering talent.
