I returned this audio book early, without finishing it. I found it to gruesome to finish. I like her other books, but this was way over the top.

This book was very disturbing to me. This one will stay with me for quite a while and I don't mean in a good way. I may be spoiling this for some so if you don't want to know stop reading here.

This book is about young boys being abducted and abused, a madman who loves spiders and has several spiders both deadly and not that he keeps for pets. It shows the damage that is done to a young boy who is abducted and abused for many years. It also tells of the madmen that stalk the internet looking for vulnerable boys to prey upon.

The story is well written and I listened to it until the end, not sure what that says about me. If you are a fan of Lisa Gardner as I am you will probably enjoy it.

This is well written, well read and well researched. But be warned that it contains terrible abuses and torture of children and women as well as graphic death scenes.

Wow! What an education--makes one understand that no one is safe. "Not for the faint of heart." Well researched and written.

This was my favourite Lisa Gardner novel. The antagonists are exquisitely written. What other writer can make you feel sympathy for the villain while simultaneously loathing and despising him? I was almost sad when this ended. It's such a great story. Read Gardner's The Neighbor. You will not be disappointed.
