the first in a "series within a series" and some great new characters added to the liaden universe

I read this after I read Ghost Ship. Definitely en error as Fledgling starts us off with how Theo got her attitude and where some of the characters in this book come from. Please read the books in sequence, you will not regret it.
Apart from that, even knowing what I learned from Ghost Ship, Fledgling was a good read and held my attention all the way through. Enjoy.

I wish I could give it 10 stars! The writing of Lee & Miller is exceptional... Flowing, brilliant, alive! I loved this, my first book of theirs. I will definitely be reading more. Highly recommended!

Outstanding fun! Great story about a child and her parents, with some universal themes mixed in with an intricate and fascinating plot.
