The plot here is quite original. I would have given it more than 3.5 stars except that, despite the claims on its jacket, there was relatively very little action in the novel. There was far more interaction, as it were. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I was in the mood for an action-throughout type of adventure. However, I rather enjoyed this novel because it was well-written and very original.
