There Goes the Bride --- by MC Beaton.
If you care to look at my list of books read you’ll find that I’ve become rather fond of this author. Her novels are indeed murder mysteries but while the do challenge you to solve the crime, they are none the less written a gentle, even amusing style. The determined reader will fund her all-too-short stories elegantly crafted and quite satisfying. To be recommended, even soothing.

All Agatha Raisin books are charming in a bitter way.

I Like this series although it is very simply written, I enjoy her storylines. She packs a lot into a very small book!

I found it a bit disjointed and not up to
her usual standard.

I had heard alot about this series so decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it's not for me. I found the plot simplistic, the heroine thoroughly unlikable & the murderer obvious from about the second chapter.

Another enjoyable account of Agatha's bumbling yet successful detecting. Several laugh out loud moments as well as thoughtful insights. A good read as usual.
