Now this is a great series for younger readers to start off with, while the concept of speaking and thinking owls may be hard to get your head around, however the story and plot itself is well done and will keep you entertained throughout. While some aspects can get dark and slow, the story moves at a quick pace introducing many new characters and growing their personalities swiftly. Furthermore, the book being easy to read and the simple yet in depth plot makes this a great starting series for new readers. So, it’s in my opinion, this is an amazing series for new readers to get into and a must get serious for them. - @Kuhaica of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
