What I liked about this documentary were the (rewarded) faith the adults had in the kids, the wholesome maturing of the kids who produced it, and the announcement at the end that riots had stopped after this high school produced this play.

This video is a documentary about high schoolers in the ghetto performing the play "Our Town", by Thornton Wilder, adapting the superficial parts to their own community, but staying true to the basic themes of love, life and death
