I have always appreciated Dr. Dobson's advice on how to protect and raise children. He is a licensed psychologist and marriage, family and child counselor. He was on the faculty of Univ of S. California School of Medicine for 14 years and on the attending staff of Children's Hospital Los Angeles for 17 years. He holds a PhD in child development from the Univ of S. California. He has devoted his career to helping children and families. I highly regard his wisdom and appreciate his Christian perspective on parenting.

It's really bad. The previous review pretty much sums it up. I was looking from advise on raising a strong, confident independent daughter. How I could help her develop skills I'm not strong in. This book is the opposite of what I was looking for. Sad. I like Kevin Leman books.

If you are looking for parenting advice from a 1950's bible thumper who believes that we must protect girls' "feminine souls" from the evils of the world, this audiobook is for you.
