"Without the evil vampire Bishop ruling over the town of Morganville, life has changed--dramatically. The resident vampires have made major concessions to the human population. With their newfound freedoms, Claire Danvers and her friends are almost starting to feel comfortable again--almost. Now Claire can actually concentrate on her studies, and her friend Eve joins the local theater company. Yet when one of Eve's cast mates goes missing after starting work on a short documentary, Eve suspects the worst. As she and Claire investigate, they soon realize that not only is the subject of the film the vampires themselves, but that this project is a whole lot bigger--and way more dangerous--than anyone suspected."--p. This series has been great from the beginning. This book is no different. Claire, Shane, Eve, and Michael are still trying to get their lives back to normal after Bishop's attack . Things just don't seem to stay that way. They find that someone has been video taping everyone in Morganville without their knowledge. When they find the person who is responsible and they are missing, that puts an end to their lives being normal. I love this series.

An amazing book. i thought the series would end after bishops maniac attempt of taking over morganville but boy was i wrong. a great read with a twist, it seems that after all somebodyis watching over the glass house or even all of morganville. it has a creepy girl that stalks everybody literally, ameilie suffers, and well myrinn is myrinn, but something opens up about myrinn that i thought was weird but cute to. great book

Another fun installment in the Morganville Vampires series! Claire and the Glass House occupants evade death, Myrnin is crazy, and Amelie has issues. What more could you want?

Once again its non-stop action and terror for Clair - Fade Out is book # 7 in Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampire series, coming after the drama with evil Bishop has ended and things are supposedly "back to normal" Clair is still with boyfriend Shane, (I love how they progress in each book and am half way in love with Shane myself ;-) and again working with slightly off-center, slight odd, but funny vampire Myrnin. Michael's adjusting to life as a vampire, and Goth girl Eve has earned a part in the town's new play. The problem comes when castmate Kim suddenly shows up and inserts herself between not only Claire and Eve, but Claire and Shane. Something's just not quite right about Kim, Clair can't stand her and hates the fact that she has a past with Shane, but she feels like its more then that and Clairs hunch are almost never wrong, nobody else see's it at first though. .until Kim goes missing and her dirty little secret comes to light. On top of that everything is not A-Okay with the vampires, Ada the computer is hating on Clair, Myrnin refuses to see this and once again sides are being drawn between the vampires and the humans. Claire and her friends are finding themselves caught firmly in the middle yet again.
