"Sawako Kuronuma is the perfect heroine ... for a horror movie. With striking similarities to a haunting movie character--jet-black hair, sinister smile and silent demeanor--she's mistakenly called Sadako by those around her. But behind her scary facade is a very misunderstood teenager. Too shy to fit in, all she wants to do is make some friends. But when the most popular boy in class befriends her, she's sure to make more than just that--she's about to make some enemies too!"--Cover.

Sawako has made a rival: Kurumi, the cute, Barbie-doll-like girl who happens to like Kazahaya. And wants Sawako to back off. Sawako must sort out whether her feelings for Kazehaya are just admiration or love, and would she feel the same for any other guy, specifically Ryu, Chizu's friend-who's-like-a-brother? This was a great volume; I loved seeing the interactions between the characters. They’re all very unique. Sawako again is proving how new and naïve she is about love, but she really does want to reach out to Kurumi and be friends with her, even though Kurumi pretty much hates her guts. I love how we’re getting to see more of Ryu; I like to think of him as a big, softie. And Kazehaya is just a darling. I love him and Sawako together. :D Another great volume; I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
