Special Agent Kate Rush is relocated to Mango Key to keep an eye on a human trafficking ring. At first, the Kelly brothers are suspected of involvement but Kate is sure Tick poses no danger, and Tick is enamored with Kate.

The male readers voice spoiled it for me.

I really liked this audio book- I liked the twists and turns of the story. This is the first Fern Michaels audio book I have listened to. I just reserved another copy.

Didn't like the male reader's voice. Poor inflection and the voices he used didn't fit the characters. Not a very good 'actor.' Guess Fern Michaels disappointed me, too. Some of the prose was rather far-fetched and belabored and tedious. Wouldn't have bothered finishing the audiobook, but I'm not a quitter.
