Delves well into the background of the Punisher (at least the MAX version of the character, who's diverged quite a far way away from the regular version by now). The writing and art by Aaaron and Dillon are good; I'm not personally that much of a fan of the MAX imprint myself though- I tend to think that with the leash of language, violence, and sex limits taken off, creative teams tend to become excessive with it.

Read "Kingpin" and "Bullseye" first. This is the best in the series though, delves deeper into what makes Frank Castle who he is and explores the dark emotional turmoil that he deals with every day.
