Amazing book. I could not put it down. I wanted to keep reading to learn what would happen next. Character development is stellar. I felt like I knew the characters in real life. I felt their pain and fell in love myself.

this book was a very well pieced together story. it was an adventure that i can only say was nothing less than brilliant.Sister Souljah had me so enamored with this sequel that i found out where the first book was and am halfway through it currently. i encourage all who like a mixture of young love, morals and values, and a strong portrayal of a young black man to pick this book up ASAP.

I never got far enough into this book to judge it. At the end of Midnight: A Gangster Love Story, I felt like I was on a train heading for whatever was next in Midnight's life, but Sister Souljah slows things down at the beginning of this book, and I couldn't make the transition especially after reading The Coldest Winter Ever. So help me if you read this book. Should I try again?

OMG I am so in love with this book!!! I am in love with the bond that Akemi & Midnight share!! They are young, but very wise beyond their years. I am a little pissed that he had to share his love with Chaisa, I under that his belief is strong, yet my thinking is that if you are one with God then ones satisfaction from worldy things are lessened, hence one wiffe should be suffiient. Nonetheless, I love this book!!!!!

How Midnight ends up working for Santiago??
However, keep 'em comin!

I smiled the way a man with troubles on his mind might smile to protect a child’s innocent view of the world.
