I usually like Debbie Macomber's books, but this one is a little too overly sentimental and predictable. Kind of boring.
An excellent story (as always) by Debbie Macomber. I have not read one of her books that I did not thoroughly enjoy. This tells the story of 2 best friends as they experience all of lifes ups and downs, sorrows and joys. The book is written as correspondence between the 2 friends as they move to different places throughout their lives but never lose touch and never outgrow the need to remain friends. As do most best friends, they tell each other everything without keeping any secrets from one another. This is a heart warming story of 2 very different women experiencing very different lives as they remain best friends for many years and grow old together.
