The eccentric Bluth clan lives a life of excess, funded by the family credit card and paid for by patriarch, George, whose fortune came from the tract home development business. Oldest son George, nicknamed Gob, is an "illusionist" of minor importance who has anger management issues. Youngest son, Buster, wastes his days taking obscure graduate school courses. Daughter Lindsay is a vain socialite. The only sane one is Lindsay's twin brother Michael, a widower, who has decided to wash his hands of the family. But when his father is jailed and the family's assets are frozen, Michael is forced to step up and aid his family in adjusting to new lives.

Didn't laugh once. Dull, insipid so called comedy that deserves fast forwarding to the painful end.

Never gets old. Practically a laugh at every sentence. So much quick wit to keep up with you could watch it multiple times and still pick up on hilarious jokes missed the first time.

Great series by Ron Howard. Really funny memorable characters & story lines. I like that the stories progress

It's unfortunate that no network chief arrested the development of this forced and silly farce about a rich family going through Chapter 11. The good news is that there's no obnoxious laugh track. The bad news is there are precious few laughs either: I laughed all of twice during my first season binge. Needless to say, I will pass on seasons two and beyond...

Finally - 10 years after it came out - I watched the whole first season of this very popular TV show. Some of it is funny - but not hilarious. Much of it is just dumb and repetitive. Don't think I will get the next season.

One of the best shows ever made. Well written and funnier each time you watch it.

Hilariously funny in a very sarcastic kind of way. This show is brilliantly written and amazingly well casted.
