Ah what fools these mortals be to believe that anyone in Hollywood would care about anyone but themselves! Cole and Pike take on a pack of rednecks in the bayou country and the Big Easy which it isn't. Bunch of nasty folks out there and surprise-there may be a teeny bit of prejudice lurking amongst the natives and them Hollywood grubbers as well.

I give an A+ to Elvis Cole and Joe Pike as characters. Love the irreverence of Elvis and the deadly potential of Pike. I'd rate the story a C+. I felt it was too complicated for my short-burst reading style. The romantic entanglement seemed to be pasted on. The action was ok but too sudden for the long progression to it. Even so, I'm a fan. Here's to hope that further stories are worthy of the great lead characters.

Entertaining book. Didn't like the ending too much but the rest was good
