This book was so good. Her connection with Sam was awesome. I wish there would've been more to the plot though. Great book overall.

I really liked this book. I think that this is a good read for mainly teenage girls. I liked how the plot focused on a different issue than most realistic fiction books for teens face.

Amazing!!! I felt like crying during some parts, but never actually did. This book is well written, and really makes you think how you treat others who have lost a parent or parents.

pretty good book, although at some points the plot seem to be lacking. It's good, but I've read better.

It's a pretty good book about the aftermath of a fathers' death. Lacey's father dies in a car accident and nothing is the same anymore. Her mom drowns herself in work, her older brother Logan is drinking and her younger brother Tanner won't talk. It's well written and the characters are great. It's kinda short but it would be boring if it was any longer.

The back:

What if you didn't get a chance to say good-bye?
Lacey's world shatters when her dad is killed in a car accident. And secretly? She feels like it's her fault. If she hadn't taken her sweet time getting ready that morning... well, it never would have happened. Her mom wouldn't be a basket case. Her brother Logan wouldn't drink. And her little brother would still have two parents.
But life goes on even if you don't want it to. And when Lacey gets the chance to make a difference in the lives of some people at school, she jumps at it. Making lemondae out of lemons is her specialty. Except she didn't count on meeting a guy like Sam. Or that sometimes. Lemonade can be a pretty bitter drink to swallow.

"You must have something in there," Jennica protested. "I'm starving." I frowned at the illuminated shelves. There were a quarter carton of expired milk, five Diet Cokes, three eggs, some carrots, and two slices of pizza left from saturday night's dinner. Dad used to do the grocery shopping, and after the accident, Mom just forgot sometimes. She worked long hours in Boston, and most night's when she got home, she was too tired to cook.
