If you like to read "real-life" stories about the forming of a strong bond between humans and animals - Then - "The Odyssey of KP2" should be of some significant appeal and interest to you.

Written by wildlife biologist, Terrie Williams - This book of non-fiction tells the "good news/bad news" tale of how the author rescued a 2-day-old Hawaiian monk seal from certain death (who had been abandoned by its mother on the beach at Kauai).

Williams' great concern for this cute, helpless, little creature lead her to quickly discover that monk seals (who face a complex environmental struggle) are one of the most critically endangered marine mammals in the USA.

This book also includes several pages of photographs, as well.
