A truly delightful novel! So original in its premise and so cleverly written.

Light and silly- just what we need from time to time. The literary references add interest. I was inspired to read more about Dorothy Parker and her contemporaries.

A delightful, sassy read that brings the eminently quotable New York writer Dorothy Parker back to life. Our heroine Violet is a powerhouse movie critic by day, but timid and tongue-tied by night. When Dorothy Parker’s feisty spirit materializes in her life, all bets are off, and Violet finds her life on a crazy rollercoaster ride. With the custody of her orphaned niece in jeopardy and romance in the air, Violet and Dorothy hatch a desperate plot that will keep the pages flying.
