Couldn't get over the typos. Please, read your books before you publish them people. Also, characters were rather boring.

WOW. Hands down, one of the BEST books I have ever read. This is such a powerful story and should be shared with many. It concludes with a life lesson, that many of us have been taught at young ages regarding NOT TALKING TO STRANGERS, and it is very well put together. I would definitely recommend this for younger readers, but in different wording for say, but point is, this is a message that EVERY SINGLE CHILD/ PERSON should be taught early on.
AMAZING JOB to the author, Sharon M. Draper.
Thank you so much for this story.

The book is deals with very heady issues. I am very concerned how nowhere about the book did it prepare the reader for such a traumatic story: abduction! rape! abuse! As young readers pick up this book, they need to be mentally prepared for the seriousness of these issues.

I had bought this book because it was in the bargain book section at Indigo and I was in a kidnapping book phase. I tend to go through phases like this where I buy the book and then, don't actually read it. So, I thought that I would save myself some money. I didn't get around to reading this book until months after buying it, and I have to say I was disappointed, even while going in with low expectations. There were spelling errors, grammatical errors and the way the characters spoke annoyed me to no end. The plot it self was okay, but not great. The characters weren't relatable and I just couldn't connect with any of them. I wouldn't recommend this book.

I found some grammatical/typo errors in this book, so it wasn't my highest rated. The plot is pretty good though.

Honestly an amazing book. I could not set it down until I knew what would happen in the end. It is very dramatic, and suspenseful. This book will make you want to scream at characters, and hug other characters. Highly recommended.
