I loved the premise for this series-opener (namely, what if 50 Shades was published in the Regency?) and I just love Caroline Linden’s writing, full stop. She writes such fun, fluffy, smart romances with feisty heroines and swoony heroes, and readers of Julia Quinn and Tessa Dare would be the perfect audience for this and the rest of her books.
