As Wodehouse hoped in his introduction, this book is “found worthy to be included in the list of the Best Hundred Books titled 'French Leave'.” Wodehouse’s usual series of mistakes, flubs, gaffes, and general zaniness among the classes, this time set in France, with a French and American cast. Not his best, but far above most modern writing. Very humorous writing. It’ll help you take your thoughts off your troubles as this gaggle of dimbulbs and bamboozlers hurtle along. Recommended.
