I love Linda Howard books but hated this one. I actually dislike the male love interest. Way too alpha male for me as well. I like the female love interest but found her too good to be true. I didn't buy the story at all! Terrible plot. The only thing that made it worth reading was the fun interaction in the McKenzie family.
