When the marriage of Mariah White and her cheating husband, Colin, turns ugly and disintegrates, their seven-year-old daughter, Faith, is there to witness it all. In the aftermath of a rapid divorce, Mariah falls into a deep depression -- and suddenly Faith, a child with no religious background whatsoever, hears divine voices, starts reciting biblical passages, and develops stigmata. And when the miraculous healings begin, mother and daughter are thrust into the volatile center of controversy and into the heat of a custody battle -- trapped in a mad media circus that threatens what little stability the family has left.

I actually gave up on a Jodi Picoult book. Maybe I'll go back and give it a try again.

Spoiler Alert!!!
The character in this book who is difficult for believers to read about, who had a popular, Televangelist style TV show proving miracles weren’t miracles, appeared again in Jodi's book, "Change of Heart." It turns out he did a complete turn-around in Finding Faith. In fact, he was an expert witness on the validity of miracles and Christianity in the trial phase of "Change of Heart." Both stories are, in a way, about testing faith and belief in miracles.

My second least favorite book from Piccoult. Completely lacked the WOW ending I have come to expect from her.

I really enjoy Jodi P. and this book proved no exception. The question is a universal one...is there a God. I liked the way she kept you wondering and, NO SPOILERS FROM ME. thought the ending was clever.

Jodi Picoult's books are absolutely amazing! I don't think I can ever get over her books! They are so good! She always manages the most surprising twists ever, and unexpected!

Long winded - read 1/2 the book and finally gave up. Did not enjoy it too much melodrama and nothing else going on. Somewhat depressing and sad - so I switched to light summer reading and will not finish this read.

Actually, this is one of my favorite Jodi Picoult books. It was very stimulating and I enjoyed the spiritual message. Interesting how Jodi developed the spiritual concept here.
I will read this one again! judehutch

I loved this book, and the way the author explained how Faith was able to talk to God at the end of the story. I recommend this book to the people who suspenseful stories.
