As an adult reading these books , they are just so precious and humorous . Just love the character Junie B and some of her antics she gets immersed in . Very quick to read but oh the fun and laughter Junie B provides .

My 6 year old daughter loves these books, and I love reading them out loud to her. They're just fun.

Although my 6 yr old daughter loves these books, I really don't like them due to the stylized grammar (which puzzles my daughter at times). The funny struggles of Junie B bring up personal puzzlements and (mostly social) confusions within my daughter. She often comments who she knows that is like one of the book characters - or who behaves like that. If nothing else, the Junie B series serves as a good conversation starter about life. Just don't try to read them aloud - it will drive you crazy!

My daughter loves these books. They are written from the point of view of a first grader in a way in which a first grader thinks and speaks. Lots of fun.
