Just finished Season 3 and it was riveting and intense. Carrie's personality is really all over the place and it's hard to believe the CIA would put up with it. Was really disgusted to find out who locked away Brody in Venezuela until it served his purpose to use him again. The end of last episode was a real downer. Once again displaying the nature of our self-serving government agencies and how they can so easily turn on their own. Not sure if I am up for Season 4.

Feb 15 2016....I was pretty much riveted. note: I bought myself the 'Prisoners of War' series that this series was based on. It's totally different, but I'm loving it. Will donate to the library when I'm done. (Only two seasons, what a shame.)

An unexpectedly strong Third Season launches the series forward along surprising character arcs and twists. An ensemble of great actors draw us in and deliver the best you could hope for from the highly charged subject matter, which exaggerates reality and lets us escape into an intense fiction. The production does a good job of avoiding cultural stereotypes by delineating unique, believable human characters responding to extraordinary events. Most notable among the many impressive performances is Navid Negahban's portrayal of enigmatic al-Qaeda leader Abu Nazir.

Brilliant plotting. A strategy thinking exercise of a very high order.

UK's MI5 and US's Homeland WOW two great spy series.

Are we getting Homeland 4?

I love the characters and the story. The way that the ends justify the means isn't lost on how far any of these people would go to achieve what they believe to be the necessary things. Of course, these types of decisions have consequences...

Season 3 of this DEEPLY RACIST series is still trying to justify the North AmeriKKKan Government's LOOTING and KILLING of innocent people of color aka Iraqis and Iranians in real life for their natural resources like their OIL period. At least this season has an extremely shocking outcome for one of the main characters in this series,BUT I DIGRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something seemed to be cooking with all the personnel problems and didn't really see the setup until episode Game On, 4 of 12 .... then time to buckle up and hold tight for another wild ride.

This last Season with Damien Lewis was not Homeland at its best. I didn't relate to the story line and the as usual excellent
writing and acting. Everything was just too much of a downer. I don't suppose writing Brody out was easy; but it was a palpable throughout and although there were some good episodes- they were just hard to enjoy. BUT, it is still easily my favorite series and I'm happy to say Season 4 is off to a great start. Don't give up the ship; watch Season 3 and stay on the roller coaster ride.

Doctor to Brody: Everywhere you go, other people die, but you always manage to survive. Have you noticed that? You're like a cockroach, still there after the last nuclear bombs go off. You belong here.
Javadi: Or what? What will you do Carrie? Burn it all down? Everything you worked for? And I don't mean what the CIA has worked for, I mean YOU....I ask myself over and over from the moment I knew what you've gone through. The hardships, set up negation to lure me in. Why? Why would anyone do that to themselves? Why would you? But I think I know now. It was always about him. That's what you care about. Maybe the only thing.
