The beginning of this book is an historical look at the people and technologies that advance knowledge of Astronomy and Cosmology to the present state of Dark Matter and Dark Energy. A rigorous review of the science, this book is probably a bit beyond general reading but easily understandable if you have some background knowledge of physics terminology and a high school understanding of algebra. Worth reading if you are interested in the subject.
