This is an excellent book! I've made Marcella's Tomato sauce and it really is life changing. The whole roasted cauliflower is excellent, and don't throw away the broth! I want to try the roasted applesauce and many others.

Only a few recipes were appealing to me and, in scanning through the whole book, I didn't see anything to change the way I cook.

I have made Nach Waxman's Brisket, Rao's meatballs, Marcella Hazan's Tomato Sauce with Onion and Butter. All simple and extremely tasty. I would travel far for a good meatball, and these meatballs with the fresh tomato sauce were outstanding. Planning to make Paul Bertolli's Cauliflower Soup and a few more things before I return the book. A delicious recipe, easy on the ingredients and specific on the directions, is a worthwhile one indeed.

The recipes look dandy, but I didn't find anything in here to inspire me to cook in a new way - contrary to the hype. These are blogged recipes from multiple cooks in a nicely produced package. If you want to look at pretty pictures of food, this is not a bad book. But it's far from life-changing.
