Babylon 5 is an outer-space way station, a port-of-call for diplomats, entrepreneurs, and scalawags of all species. Commander Jeffrey Sinclair -- aided by chief security officer Michael Garibaldi, Lt. Commander Susan Ivanova, and resident telepath Talia Winters -- tries to keep apprised of all the intrigues swirling around his little corner of the galaxy, but things invariably spiral out of control.

Multi-faceted, stories built upon stories that you'll want to return to prior episodes and revisit. Not just a Sci-Fi genre. Well written with humour (Swedish meatballs seem truly to be universal) yet drama, action, and humanity relational aspects in alien territories.

Many areas are of untouched-upon imagining. Conflict and tension among old and new races among the galaxies and time distortions of our perception. Well done.

First season of the best-written show on television.

Watch it from first season through the fifth.

Screenwriter Straczinsky is a pro who put up his own money to make this series. The cast and crew were a team.

The main characters are all well-written and memorable. They are all lovingly brought to life by their actors.

Computer Graphics was way ahead of its time, being done on Amigas.

This show has aged well. I urge you to add it to your viewing Pantheon.
