The story is beginning to get confusing, due to too may characters, and a lack of continuity. Also authors keep jumping forward and back in time to tell character's stories which detracts from readability / understanding. The unexpected introduction in the last page or so, was a poor move on the part of the authors as he/it had never been mentioned before. This introduction led me to question whether this series was a setup for some religious promotion.
