I love Rosamunde Pilchers writing. She effortlessly whisks you away to her created worlds. I've read all her books before, but picking them up again is like visiting an old friend.

Rosamunde Pilcher does a wonderful job of creating characters engaged as we all are in the struggle of being human, deciding for ourselves what is right and wrong.
In this book the predicament of a young child unwanted by anyone plays the central theme around which the other characters responses and lives continue to unfold.
