I couldn't put this book down. Dawn Kurtagich is amazing at writing horror and making you question everything that you are reading. This book is worth reading and you will never forget what the dead house is.

I really liked the first half. It was very much a psychological horror book up until the second half. I'm not much into magic so once I got 50% of the way through, it became a struggle for me to finish it.
