This is a pretty good career book. It is easy to read and includes a vast variety of careers ranging from a musician to a crime scene investigator to a doctor, however jobs such as a mathematician are not officially included. It additionally, includes along with careers the skills needed for the job, related careers to the job, some qualification needed to enter the career and interests that are associated with this job. This book also includes the salary but it only includes how many stars a salary is, not the actual range of salary each job has. As another comment stated though this book is based in the United States so won’t be exactly the same as in Canada or in other countries. Overall good book to get some insight into many jobs, but further research is required.

Very useful, especially since this year I have a term paper on different careers! :)

Very, very useful to me (a high schooler thinking about possible future careers). My only regret is that I don't feel like most of the careers fit me, but trust me, that tells a lot more more against me than against the book!

Useful information in an easy to understand format. Every profession has several checklists and, most useful to me, a list of related jobs. The only criticism I have is that this book doesn't include any psychological tests, which could help lead you to the best fitting jobs. It is also based on the US job market so some fields may not be as applicable in Canada.
