If you like Batman and Lovecraft you'll love this book. It pulls heavily on both mythologies and blends them together into a fascinating narrative. I liked it even better the second time I read it.

Paperback (edit)
Review Batman meets HP Lovecraft in this noir set in the 1920s. Bruce Wayne has been away from Gotham City for twenty years after the death of his parents and the warning he received after that. Now he's back after searching for a lost expedition and things get appropriately bizarre.

I really enjoyed this. There are few panels that I thought looked weird but, all in all, the whole thing is weird. Awesome though. If you like Lovecraft and Batman both you'll be curious to check this out. It's interesting to see how certain characters are rendered in this world.

An interesting retelling of the Batman story, in an alternate history where the Wayne mansion is located in Lovecraft country...
