I agree with gingin1972. The series started out great, but as time went on, it got worse. They turned Pete into a weak character instead of the person he started out as during the first season. It's as if they knew the series would not be renewed and they did not care about making a decent send-off. It could have been a good-running series.

Season 4 and 5 sucked! It started out pretty good but got lame as the seasons went on!

Magic artifacts and shallow characters running around franticly,..
two episodes were too much for me.

This was a good series starting out. For me, the racial undertones were crap. If the world is filled with so much endless wonder, then why I wonder, why were there not more people of color on this show. Do you thnk that folk lore and weird stuff just happened to white people? I have allot of questions like, why out of the core group of people on the show did you have to kill the black girl? So white old guy does not want to loose his friends, goes back in time, releases an evil that will distroy the world (which ends up being him) but ultimately just kills the black girl and saves the world, everyone fights for his job so he goes no where, and no one seems to be trying to find a way to bring her back. This after we see the youngest girl go thru hell and high water to bring back her white male gay friend from the dead. Have nothing against gays and very glad that he's in there but as a syfy person it makes me think that, now that this society has gotten us to think like you do, see your point of view at least you could do is include us more, we are out there, we do excist and not as you red shirts either. If racial undertones don't bother you, have it. For me however ,I will be watching Eureka!
