I enjoyed reading this book. I really liked how Jordan could set his goals, and him and his family all worked to get there. All in all, great read.

An inspiring story! Jordan is humble and likeable and his connection to family and passion for life shine through. This is a triumph story at heart, but young travelers, climbers, and history lovers will also enjoy the details.

Incredibly powerful and moving book, for it being 350 pages it went quickly and it is easy to pause since each mountain is split up and makes it a great read!

What do Mounts Elbrus, Everest, Kilimanjaro, Kosciuszko, Denali, Aconcagur and Vinson have in common? Known as the “Seven Summits”, they are each the tallest mountain on their continent.
Very few people have climbed all of the Seven Summits, where dangers such as falls, accidents, avalanches, frostbite, hypothermia and acute mountain sickness can happen at any time.
Jordon Romero of Big Bear Lake, California, has accomplished something very remarkable in his life. He has climbed all of the Seven Summits ... by the age of fifteen! As you might guess, he is the youngest person in the world to have done so.
At age 13, Jordan also became the youngest person to climb Mount Everest.
What motivated Jordan to set such an enormous goal ... and how he was able to achieve it – one mountain at a time – are the subjects of this inspiring, true story of determination and perseverance against all odds.
Today not only is Jordan in the process of climbing the highest peak in each of the fifty States, but he also visits schools across the United States to speak about setting goals and achieving dreams.
** Recommended for ages 9 to 13 years.
