If you would like to read Mystery books that makes you want to dig deeper, this is the right book for you. Vanishing girls is about two sister's that grew up together did everything with each other. But it's not until Dara ends up in a car accident that leaves her face scarred. Their parents are divorced and live in separate houses. The sisters that use to be so close together, aren't speaking now, Nick has lost everything but in the summer she decides to get it all back. Dara has vanished on her birthday which left Nick thinking that she was playing. But it all comes down to where a nine year old girl vanishes also. This book made me feel emotional because of the things that happened to Dara and the accident, also when Dara keeps breaking up with her boyfriend which was on valentines day. I have not read any other book by this author but I think that I would like to read more by her because of the fact that she makes everything there and so real. I would recommend this book because of me personally I like mystery books and it made me feel good about reading it.

this book was good like I still wanted to continue reading it although it was kinda strange but the surprise factor near the end threw me for a loop I was awestruck like that was insane and I still don't know if I understand but it's definitely worth reading bc of the shock

Woah! This mystery/thriller/romance about two estranged sisters, a missing girl, and the boy next door, packs some interesting surprises and makes you work to figure out just what is going on! A great audiobook, too.

This book was a great read in my opinion and there were definitely a lot of feels. I would recommend it for those who don't mind a slightly confusing resolution and who enjoy reading about complicated situations. In my opinion, it was really, really good. So good, in fact, that I finished it in less than a day.

Another winner from Lauren Oliver! This one focuses on the relationship of two sisters and a devastating event that changed their lives forever. Don't get too comfortable with the plot though just when you think you have it all figured out your mind will be blown.

I enjoyed this read. Just when you thought you knew what kind of story it was, it does a change-up and takes you in a new direction. And more than once. Made me want to go back and check how the writer set up that moment for the reader. Highly recommended for older teens and adults.

I loved most of it (I'm a big fan of Lauren Oliver), but felt that the ending was...unnecessary. For me it cheapened what was initially a really powerful story about family and finding a way to exist in the world again after something horrible happens.

Lauren Oliver's writing was beautiful, though, and Nick and Dara are well-developed and interesting.

I always look forward to Lauren Oliver's newest book. This wasn't my favourite but it was still really good.
